MexicanMP: Mexicans have good feelings towards Iran

MADRID (IRNA) -- Head of Foreign Affairs Committee in the Mexican Senate said Mexican have good feelings towards Iranians and respect them very much.
In a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Mexico Mohammad-Hassan Qadiri-Abyaneh on Friday, Mrs. Rosario Green said, "Ancient cultures and civilizations of Iran and Mexico are connecting points for both nations which are geographically far from each other and underline that cultural closeness can be a strong and good basis for creating sustainable relations between the two countries." In this concern, she said holding an exhibition of Iranian historical works and goods in Mexico city can be very effective to expand cultural ties adding, "Mexicans have a lot of respect for Iranians because we both own very ancient civilizations." She welcomed top Iranian diplomat proposal on promoting friendly ties between the two countries in all fields including parliamentary ties. Mrs. Green said, "Iran's Embassy here can rely on senate foreign affairs committee to develop relations." She also underlined her country's opposition to any new round of war in the Middle East region
